Week 1 — Wednesday, March 4th
Foxtrot & Waltz
- Foxtrot (7:00 – 8:00 PM)Smooth, classic, and elegant — the perfect introduction to Ballroom
- Focus: posture, frame, lead/follow, slow-slow-quick-quick timing
- Students feel sophisticated from step one
- Waltz (8:00 – 9:00 PM)Beautiful rise and fall, sweeping movement
- Focus: box step, balance, musicality in 3/4 time
- Builds on the frame and partnership from Foxtrot
Week 2 — Wednesday, March 11th
Foxtrot Review & Swing
- Foxtrot Review + Progression (7:00 – 7:30 PM)Quick review of Week 1, add new patterns
- Swing (7:30 – 9:00 PM)High energy, playful, and social
- Focus: triple step, rock step, lead/follow dynamics
- Great contrast to smooth Foxtrot — brings the fun factor
Week 3 — Wednesday, March 18th
Viennese Waltz & Samba
- Viennese Waltz (7:00 – 8:00 PM)Takes Waltz to the next level — speed, elegance, rotation
- Focus: continuous turning, balance at tempo, partnership trust
- Samba (8:00 – 9:00 PM)Brazilian carnival energy — bounce action and rhythm
- Focus: samba bounce, basic step & samba Box
- Party vibes to close the night
Week 4 — Wednesday, March 25th
Ballroom Review & Combo Night
- Review all styles: Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing, Viennese Waltz, Samba
- Combo patterns mixing styles together
